Last Minute Christmas and the new Kenny K!!!

Happy Tuesday all!!  I hope you are all enjoying the holiday preparations.  I know I have been very busy finishing up so I can sit back and just enjoy the holidays.  Today's card is one of the last cards I am creating for the holidays using the Cozy Little Snowman from the Meljen's Collection and the Winter Letter Seals created by the ever so talented Ann from Raindrop Echo Designs!!

I had fun using my Cuttlebug winter borders embossing folders and my scorer to create my background.  The image is colored with copics.  The snowflake is felt and from SU.  The dp is from my scrap bin and I am unsure of the company who made it.

In addition to my Christmas card, I would like to share the newest attraction at Whimsy!!  Yes.... the Kenny K rubber collection!!  We still have a blog hop going on and you have a chance to win some awesome prizes including the entire release, click here to join the hop starting at Sem's blog. The hop ends on Thursday December 23rd at noon EST.

Remember that Whimsy Stamps will be carrying the rubber versions of these stamps only. Kenny K will continue to offer the digital versions in his store. The rubber stamps are available to PRE-ORDER from today from the Whimsy store, and will hopefully be in stock and start shipping after the holidays!

Anywho..here is one of my creations using Download Diva available as a Pre-order.

I colored her with copics.  The paper just seemed so perfect with this image.  It is from DCWV Music.  I don't usually use bright colors but I just love bright colors with these particular images.  Since there were instruments in the background and I did not want to cover them up in my layout, I chose to add a banner instead of panels.  The letters were punched with a Martha Stewart Alphabet punch.

I hope you enjoyed my creations!!  Thanks for stopping by and for your comments.

stamping hugs,

Holly Beary Fairy

Hello it's my turn to post on the Whimsy Inspirations Blog. I want to show you a card I made using three diffrent Stamps from Whimsy Stamps.

I used Holly Beary Fairy by Meljens Designs, Calendar Stamp by Raindrop Echo, Holiday Ticke Sentiments also by Raindrop Echo. My paper is the Holiday Folly Paper Pack, really pretty paper!! I colored my image with Copic Markers, I left off the embelishments, sometimes a little is a lot!!

Thanks for peeking in and enjoy your Friday!!

A Sneak Peek and More

Morning All!

I'm here today to share 2 cards with you, both using Meljen's Designs images. The first one is actually a sneak peek at a brand new rubber stamp, which will be released tomorrow! We are releasing a total 9 new stamps and sets to our Rubber Collections and we'll host a blog hop with lots of inspiration and some prize chances too! All the fun starts at Noon EST, Wednesday December 8th!

This is Cozy Cap Mouse....isn't he just adorable!

For more details on how I made this card you can visit my blog and read more.

The next card I have to share uses one of Melissa's sweet new penguin digital stamps. Meljen's Designs has a huge selection of holiday digital stamps that can be resized, flipped or rotated to fit your project and you can download them immediately after purchasing and get started on your holiday projects right away!

I've used some holiday Bo Bunny papers and then embellished with ribbon, snowflakes, and sticky gems. Sorry if the image seems blurry, I tried to photograph this card 4 or 5 times and each time it was fuzzy looking. I think the camera was picking up the shine on the gems or something!

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you have a great Tuesday and I hope we'll see you back here tomorrow for our newest rubber release!

Christmas Present & Christmas Past

posted by Vicki-Stamped Smiles
Hello friends!!  I'm back with another post for you.
One of my favorite Christmas movies to watch is the classic "A Christmas Carol" with George C. Scott as Mr. Scrooge...it just wouldn't be Christmas for me without watching that!
They always say that you must always remember your past, live for today and look to the future, so I thought this would be a good time of year for that!
Since I've been with Whimsy Stamps for a while, I thought it would be fun to make something current and then take a look at a past creation I made!
Christmas Present - For my creation today, I've used this adorable Holly Beary Fairy rubber stamp by Meljen's Designs available at Whimsy Stamps.  I've also taken the sentiment from the Peace On Earth stamp set by Crissy also available from Whimsy Stamps.
I've colored the image with Copics, I then glittered her wings and used my Zig Painty paint pen and added silver dots to parts of her dress, around the image and for accents around the frame.  I've used all of the rhinestones and ribbons to follow a sketch, which I thought worked nicely with this image.
Here are my challenges for this card:
Top Tip Tuesday - anything goes (Whimsy is sponsoring...but hurry!)
C.R.A.F.T. - Christmas birthday

And here's a look at Christmas Past
I took Crissy's Jolly Puppy Kisses stamp and made a fun Christmas style wall hanging.
As I was digging out some of Christmas things, I came across this frame, so I thought it would be fun to share with you again.

Christmas Future -  I certainly CAN'T show you anything from Christmas future as I'm not quite aloud to...yet!  But please stayed tuned in to this blog to find out information about a rubber stamp blog hop and other really fun new releases!!  Hope you enjoy your Christmas and thanks for joining me today!! HUGS

Wintery Letter Seals

Hi, it's Annika here and this time I'm showing something a bit different. I love those Wintery Letter Seals - so versatile. This time I've decided to use them as a main focus of my little project:

These little pyramid boxes open from the back. You could stuff them with chocolates and use on Christmas tree or as an advent calendar. I decided to hang them on wine bottles and fill with packets of mulled wine spices - it makes a lovely Christmas gift, don't you think?!

The big snowflakes underneath the seals are actually cheap plastic tree decorations but they work brilliantly here and add just enough oomph.

It's a perfect little project to do with your kids - my 4-year old helped me with pleating the paper for rosettes and punching out the circles and snowflakes. And glittering. Sigh.

If you want to try yourself you can find the template and tutorial for the project HERE.

Thanks gor looking and happy crafting!
Hugs
Annika
