July "Summer Fun" Monthly Card Kit

Hello everyone!! Today it's me, Ellen, to share an exciting post!! I'm showcasing the July "Summer Fun" card kid and multiple creations made with the items.

First there is a video that shows every single item from the kit and a little decor item.

Of course I also wanted to make a card with the stamp set!!

As you can see, I used some of the solid color paper and patterns paper. With the sentiment from another clear stamp set "Spring Wreath" and the white felt clouds the card was finished.

The ribbons and the "Laugh" die was one of my favorite items from the kit. So for the next and last project I had to use them.

The blue tag was created with the white paper from the kit and some different inks. The inside of the hot air balloon became a shaker piece... further I used the "Sentiment Banner Dies " to bring out the word laugh nicer. The pretty ribbon was a perfect match with the blue paper used for the word laugh.

I hope to see more inspiration from YOU on the Whimsy Facebook group!!

Hugs & Kisses!

Hi Everyone!

It's Shannah here today to share some Whimsy Inspiration with you!

For my card today I've used the cute & fun stamp called 'Hugs & Fishes' from Krista Heij-Barber to create a quick and easy shaker card.

I made a card with a fishbowl on the front, then cut out the centre and made a shaker window. I then placed my Copic coloured image on the inside (in another fishbowl shape).

I finished the card front with the sentiment, a rose either side of it and a couple of pearls.

I hope you like it! You can see more details on my Blog;  Embellished ExpresShan's.

Thanks so much for visiting today and hope you have a great week!

Nautical Thanks

Hello!  I have a nautical thank you card for you today.  I started by stamping the lines in two colors of blue ink for my background.  Then I stamped and colored the boat, and cut it out with an oval die.  I cut a sentiment banner and added the words, then layered it all together and put a double twine bow on before adhering everything to a dark blue base.
My supplies, all from Whimsy Stamps:

Ocean Journeys Sentiments

Thanks for stopping by!

Hello Friends,

We are very lucky to have a special guest joining us this month, Julia Altermann! Julia is an awesome card designer and she has a super fun YouTube channel where she shares all kinds of crafting projects, ideas, tips, and tutorials! If you don't know Julia, you should definitely pop over to her blog and YouTube and check her out!

Julia has created a super cute trio of fun using our Snappy Birthday stamp set. Sadly, we just sold out of these stamps, BUT we have more due to arrive next week.

Mr & Mrs

Hi everyone! It's Linda here today and I'm sharing a wedding card I made with this delightful stamp from the Art by MiRan collection called Wedding Day.

I coloured it up with my distress ink markers to match some lovely vintage style papers and added a chipboard sentiment, but you could do something similar with a die cut if you have one.

I don't know about you but I seem to get a lot of requests for Wedding Cards this time of year, so it's good to have some made up! If you want more details, just pop over to my blog.

Have fun!

Wishing You Fair Winds

Hi there! It's Ellen here that takes over the Whimsy blog today. I like to share an encouraging card. This card was made for my older brother. He is going to live in his own apartment very soon and of course I want to wish him the best.

I mainly used images from "Ocean Journeys" & "Ocean Journeys Sentiments" and put them up on top of each other. Here is a close up:

See you again!
